The Smartest Dinosaur Toys Don't Need Lawyers
(This is an archive of the "Dino-Blog"from October 16 & 17, 2009)
The smartest Dinosaur toys are the ones with the thickest hides and the biggest teeth. Not necessarily those that run off to the
"Para-legal-ophus".

I had expected to do the Papo Spinosaurus page today
but things just came up.... At ten this morning we went out for our
flu shots, then had to pick up a big bag of baby bottles
and then decided to go grocery shopping. This entailed a drive of thirty miles and while stopped at a red light I rushed out of the car and got a bag of Dinosaur toys out of the trunk, never imagining the tragedy that would ensue.... (I was not being the smartest Dinosaur owner!)
Arriving at the grocery I discovered that a Papo Parasaurolophus had fallen out of the bag and realized it probably was lying in the road, thirty miles away. There was nothing to do but hope and we proceeded to do our shopping, planning on returning to the scene of the accident as soon as possible. Even as we hastily filled our cart with milk and bananas, hamburger and garlics our thoughts were with our missing Dino-buddy. Unfortunately it was five hours before we could return to the scene to conduct our search.
The Papo Parasaurolophus was laying kicked to the curb (he had fallen in the middle of the street) and must have been hit by a passing car tire at least once. Amazingly he was little the worse for wear. (And having shown why HE is one of the smartest Dinosaur toys having gotten himself out of the heaviest traffic!). The only visible damage were scrapes on the left hip and thigh and the outside left toe. No roadkill he!
Returning home he immediately consulted with his Para-law-ophus (the browner one on the right) and took some "accident-pictures". You can see that there was, in fact, minimal damage to the finish, only some scales scraped off from what was at least one and probably more tire hits as cars went through the intersection. I am amazed at the toughness of this Dinosaur toy.
You will all be happy to know he is back home and enjoying a salad as we iron out the legal ramifications with his Para-legal-ophus.
More on this tomorrow, AND the Papo Spinosaurus page.

Today has worked out very well in that both the Papo Spinosaurus page and the master Spinosaurus page were completed. I had been undecided on whether to make the master page but the general popularity of the Spinosaurus Dinosaur family required that we do it.
Our negotiations with the Para-legal-ophus have come to a successful conclusion
regarding the possible law suit over injuries received,
the representative of the aggrieved party has left town
and the plaintiff has withdrawn the complaint. Thank you very much, negotiators.
We haven't decided what is on tap for tomorrow other than another sunrise. Don't forget to subscribe to the "Dino-blog" if you haven't already and keep those "cards and letters" coming folks- this is your site!
